People too often think of Dallas in terms of business. And Europeans seem to know only one thing about it, a tragic day when JFK was assassinated. Why reduce it to this? Dallas is my birth town and I love it. If you like art deco, check out the Creative Arts Building at Fair Park. If you are interested in artistic geometric research in painting and sculpture, see the Maddi museum on Carlisle! The Dallas Museum of Art holds paintings from Renoir, Van Gogh, Cezanne, Monet, Pollock, Rothko, Warhol... as well as American, African Asian and Pacific art. The Museum of Natural History will take kids through a hands on exhibit. The Crow Collection has 600 paintings, objects of metal and stone and large architectural pieces from China, Japan, India, and Southeast Asia. There are numerous museums, galleries and cultural places to visit in Dallas Tx.
